Private Bus & Driver Hire for Hunter Valley Wine Tours

Looking to explore the Hunter Valley with your group but not interested in a shared bus tour? With our private bus and driver hire service, you get the freedom to enjoy the day on your terms— just you and your group! Add a wine tasting fees and lunch on to this and your day is underway.  

Pricing:

• Groups of 7 to 11 people: from $950 total. This covers the bus and driver only; tasting fees and lunch are at your own cost.


• Groups of 12 to 20 people: from $1250 total. This covers the bus and driver only; tasting fees and lunch are at your own cost.

How It Works:

• You plan your own day: Choose your cellar doors, cheese, chocolate, brewery, distillery, and lunch spots, call , email the places and book these in yourself. Just let us know your choices, and we’ll handle the transport.
• Or let us plan it for you: We’ve got some amazing pre-planned tour options or we can customize a tour based on your preferences starting from an added on $30 (3 wineries at $10pp, if you want more than 3 wineries, price increases $10pp per extra winery)

Important Info:

• Your booking covers bus and driver hire only. Tasting fees and lunch are separate costs, added on.
• We provide free pick-up and drop-off from local accommodation in the Hunter Valley.
• Hire hours: 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• The minimum cost is $950 for groups of up to 11, and $1250 for groups of 12 to 24. Simply divide by the number of people to get your per-person cost.
• There is a pickup fee charged if you are staying outside the direct Pokolbin area. Please talk to us about your pickup location fee.

• Comfortable, air-conditioned mini-bus with heating for cooler days

• Local Pokolbin pickup (10km from HV gardens shopping village)

What’s Not Included:

• Tasting fees at cellar doors
• Lunch
• Any alcohol, food, or gifts purchased on the day
• Pickup and drop-off outside of Pokolbin

A Few Reminders:

• You’ll need to book your own cellar door visits and lunch spots. Don’t worry, we’re here to guide you!
• No open alcohol is allowed on the bus. No eskys or sneaky drinks, please.  

* Very Important, for those wishing to bring children on their wine tour, please read: if your child is required to be in a child car seat in your family car, your child must be in a child car seat in our tour vehicles unless 7+ years old. We are not a route service and the general safety rules that apply in your family vehicle, apply to our passenger bus hires. 

Please do NOT ask for your child to sit on your lap, as a refusal from us can sometimes offend people and it is not our intention to offend anyone. It makes us sad to refuse anyone but safety and safe practices must and will be followed.

it is important to note HVT does not provide children's car seats. Car Seats are BYO.
